I moved my business back to the Bay Area in 1999 and settled in Santa Cruz where I worked and apprenticed with some amazing senior stylists. During this period, I studied at the Menswork Academy to master men's hair styling. My services were also in demand for many special events including Fashion Week in New York, as well as several fashion and TV shows in Los Angeles.

I added the Hairlocs Extension system to my repertoire by becoming a certified Hairlocs Extensions Specialist. This unique system offers seamless color-matched extensions that are free of chemicals, adhesives, sewing, or braiding. I'm always looking to enhance my skills by taking an array of advanced workshops and classes.

My business has now grown to the point where I have established a large client base and now own and operate my own Salon in Santa Cruz, CA.

My hands like to stay busy so when I'm between projects I enjoy gardening and three-dimensional textural arts such as cooking, jewelry making (see my online store), guitar playing, sewing, and knitting. I'm always looking to create something amazing with a new media.
